"Emu Egg Wand Kaleidoscope"
This painted and glittered emu egg is a beautiful kaleidoscope.
The wand is filled with oil and little bits of different colored glass,
as you turn the wand you see the kaleidoscope of colors.

"Polly Wanna' Play?"
Birdcage constructed with cutaways from one
speckled-shell emu egg, each oval and triangular piece being glittered
with aqua fine glitter on the inside, lined around the edges with silver braid,
and then epoxied together. Using dremel and fimo, I reshaped and
hand-painted a resin pussycat sitting patiently watching a
hand-painted parrot figurine mounted inside the cage on a log.

"Send in the Clowns"
This is made with an emu egg for the body and part of an emu egg was used for
the umbrella. The hands and feet are ceramic and the creation sits on a
corian base. The balloons are plastic on flexible gold wire.
This fun egg is finished in gold braid, pom-poms, feathers and a straw hat!

"The Carousel"
Cut from one emu egg, this carousel moves around as well as the
horses. The egg is beaded in 2mm pearls, size 11 and 14 Japanese
seed beads, and has gold findings. It took the artist nearly a month to
complete this egg.

"Commemoration"
Unpainted emu egg with double doors in front and a window in the back, inset
with gold filigree. Tiny luster crystal beads and fine gold braid surround
the openings. These tiny beads are repeated in a chapel-like stained glass
feature on the sides in soft shades of translucent amethyst and crystal.
Inside is an angel sitting on a fluffy cloud.

"Winter's
Beauty"
This emu egg was decorated using acrylics, decoupage and sculpting
clay.
Chickadees sit on the branches of a tree while in the background cardinals
search for winter berries.
