Diorama Emu Eggs

"Mothers & Babies in Springtime"
A small figurine of a North American Indian Mother & Baby beside
a lake. She has just bathed her baby & is drying him off.
Behind her is a hand painted scene of mountains, trees, their tepee &
greenery. There are also real rocks, trees, real sand, real pine cones,
and spring flowers.
There is a female deer and in front of her (which barely shows) is her baby
laying in a bed of moss in a hollowed out area. On the back of the egg is
a painted apple tree with blossoms & a hummingbird.

Decorated Emu Eggs
& Second Place Best in Show

"Emu Special Trinkets w/Photo Holder"
Made from a genuine Emu Egg. Hinged at the top and on the door, the inside
of this egg is
lined with Imported Silk from China. The outside is trimmed with a pretty
gold and white braid,
an Italian Gold safety chain and a tiny hand carved rose at the top. The
eggshell has several
coats of clear resin to show the true beauty of the natural Emu eggshell color.
Inside the door
the artist has used the "sinking" method to add depth to the shell
with a floral decal using
resin, glitter and gold ballentine beads. The outside of the shell
has gold plated filigree,
Swavorski Rhinestone Chain and CAB Rhinestones. The door has been accented
with a gold
plated filigree Angel. The trinket box is attached permanently to a gold
plated metal stand.
The height for this creation is approximately 7 1/4 inches.
