Pharaohs'
Horses
From the
Painting "Pharaohs' Horses"
This painting has been in controversy for years regarding the original artist.
Two paintings came into the public at the same time, one done by a named artist
and one found in a garage sale by an unknown artist. Controversy comes in due
to neither painting being proven to be the original. Who inspired who? Artists
of many different fields have since used this beautiful image in their work.
The artist has recreated the image on an emu egg using all layers of color in
the shell.

"Wolf Family Emu Egg on Burlwood"
This is a sterile emu egg with a hand oil-painted background.
When dry, I placed the figurines inside with all kinds of dried natural
around it to give it a woodsy look. I then glued the egg onto a dried pieceof burlwood, adding moss and dried lichen here and there to bring the
natural look all together.

"The Beckaneer"
Completely decked out in brass trimming and rigging, the Beckaneer
began it's voyage as a charitable donation for the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Much attention was paid to detail, and the ship is equipped with full
cannonade, free-spinning captain's wheel, opening hatchways, and a below-deck
that can be peeked in upon through the aged brass porthole inserts.
