Charleston Eggs

3 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, coarsely grated
1 large emu egg or 12 chicken eggs
salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 325°.

Butter 6 oven-proof bowls.  Place on large cookie sheet.  In blender, mix all ingredients except 1 cup cheese.  Pour mixture into bowls.  Sprinkle with remaining cheese.  Bake at 325° for 20 minutes or until the eggs are fairly firm.  Serve immediately with toast.
