Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The original fairy tale was Snow White and the seven little men, but Walt Disney changed all that.  

New Zealand Artist Beverly has presented us with a beautiful diorama of Snow White.  Our heroine sits beneath a tree surrounded by forest creatures.  In the distance we see a cottage and the pine trees of the forest.  The outside area around the diorama opening has been built up to look like trees and gives us the feeling that we are peering through the forest to see Snow White.  The leaves are made individually with Porcelain Paste.  The cottage is paper toled.  The Snow White figurine is a Hallmark keepsake.  On the back of the egg the artist has painted a beautiful sunset.  The 7 Dwarfs were transferred from a reduced laserprint.
