DawnSmith-DragonEgg.jpg (76216 bytes)Ching Lung

This is the first in a series of dragons carved on emu eggs by egg artist Dawn Smith.

The Dragon (Lung) is of great importance in Chinese mythology. It shows up in the arts, literature, poetry, architecture, songs, and many aspects of the Chinese conscience. At one time, only the emperor of China could wear an emblem with a five clawed dragon on it.

This particular egg is already in a private collection, but the artist will take custom orders.  Please email Dawn Smith for prices and ordering information.
