Alice In Wonderland

A wonderful selection for an egg collector or a teapot collector.  This ostrich egg has been fitted with a porcelain spout and handle.  The body of the 'teapot' is cut out to reveal Alice reading in her room.  As Alice sits and reads her book (Alice in Wonderland), the rabbit runs through the looking glass.  Behind our heroine is a lattice cut window covered with organza curtains and a valance which coordinates with the floor rug.  Alice herself is a plastic doll redone ala Barbara Tison style with a handmade tissue dress and pinafore.  She is holding the Alice in Wonderland book.  Note the detail of the room - the lacy tablecloth, tea and cup on the side table beside the overstuffed chair.
