Basket of Eggs

Consider placing your egg collection in a basket instead of on individual stands.  Eggs are much sturdier than you might suspect and will withstand all but the most unusual handling.

This  assortment of carved chicken and duck eggs makes a beautiful country display.  The bow on your basket can be changed to suit the holiday or season, lending a festive air to any decor.

As can be seen from the picture above and the close-up below, this collection includes both brown and white chicken eggs as well as eggs from several different species of duck.  This variation in size and color gives added texture and interest to this eye-catching arrangement.   If you don't have enough carved eggs to achieve the look you want, supplement your carved eggs with plain blown eggs while you collect.

All of the eggs in this collection were carved by artist Edna Mays Isaac and run between $25.00 to $75.00 each, depending on the pattern and egg type chosen.
