This emu egg diorama features an exhausted Easter Bunny taking a much deserved rest under the watchful eye of a bluebird. All the figures in this diorama are handmade from bread dough and then sealed for permanence before painting. The close up below helps to show how intricate the artwork is on this egg. As he lies on the grass, the sleeping figure of the Easter Bunny is surrounded by Easter Eggs. A small frog and a teeny Easter Basket have been placed in the foreground beside the sleeping bunny - these are also made from bread dough and hand painted. The interior woodland scene is hand painted.
