by Stephanie Ramey Supplies: - blown chicken eggs or wooden chicken eggs - white glue (I used Mod Podge made by Plaid which can be found at Wal-Mart in the craft department) - old magazines, or tissue paper, or wrapping paper (we used tissue paper) - scissors - brushes This is a fun project for you to do with your kids. Please note this can be a messy project.
Take some old magazines and cut small irregular pieces.
Use a brush to coat the back of each piece with glue and apply over entire egg by overlapping pieces.
When the egg is dry, coat the entire egg again with glue to seal the egg.
Place dried eggs in a basket on a table or let your child give them away as gifts. Grandparents really love to get artful treasures like this from their grandchildren. |
