"Fairies and Swans"

Fairies and Swans play on this emu egg painted by Award Winning Master Artist Marg McCarthy.  Click on the pictures above for a larger, more detailed view of the artwork.  In scene one a fairy floating along catches the eye of a swan.  In scene two the fairies sprinkle magic over the swan as he splashes.  In scene three the swan and fairies peacefully go on their respective ways.

An award winning artist, Marg has received top honors in competitions in the world of eggshell art and recently achieved her Masters Certification through the International Egg Art Guild. She was honored to have been chosen to paint an egg representing the sate of Colorado for display at the White House for the year 2000 and 2002 Easter Celebrations. Marg's work has also been featured in numerous local and national publications.
