Red Pysanky Snowflake

This Pysanky snowflake is full of symbolism.  The red stands for love and hope.  The white stands for purity. The symbols used in this work include but are not limited to:

Diamonds (diamonds symbolize knowledge) are joined together  to form the basis of the snowflake.  Stars.  In ancient times it was thought that a new star appeared at each birth, and that the star died when the person died. 
Ladders:  prayer
Dots:  Mary's tears
Pine Needles:  Eternal Youth
Triangles:  The Trinity
